We do have some history here, as we used to eat at Tofu House in Santa Clara at least once a week when we lived in Mountain View, though I hadn't seen the friendly owner in about 5 years. Apparently he remembers us as he immediately smiled when we entered...and then looked at me disparigingly, telling me I had gotten too skinny. Apparently he has also taken up new hobbies and fashioned himself a new sense of humor, because toward the end of the meal, he came over to the table, told me he would make me "something funny" and produced this balloon pig. Funny indeed. On the way out, he slipped me a pack of melon gum and told me to come back so he could fatten me up.
